Participation in the meeting of Arab ambassadors to the United States of America.

Her Excellency Mrs. Cisse Cheikh BOIDE, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to the United States of America, participated in the periodic monthly meeting at the headquarters of the Arab League mission in Washington, accompanied by her fellow Arab ambassadors accredited to the United States of America. The meeting was chaired by the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait, Cheikh Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Dean of the Arab diplomatic corps in Washington. The meeting discussed the most important issues in the Arab world.

For her part, Her Excellency demanded during her intervention that a special article on Mauritania be permanently included in the agenda, expressing her desire to talk about the human rights portfolio as Mauritania is subject to many allegations and accusations about slavery, which is not true. Her Excellency also confirmed that the Corona pandemic had greater on the developing countries as they suffer from other crises, and she appealed to the Arab countries to have one word for these countries to receive the vaccine and special care.

The Meeting was attended by the ambassador and the Counselor, Mohamed Lemine Bedah.
