Participation in the ceremony honoring the US-African Partnership
On June 22, 2022, Her Excellency Cisse Cheikh BOIDE, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to the United States of America, has participated in a ceremony honoring the partnership between the United States of America and African countries, at the joint invitation of General Stephen Townsend, Commander of US Military Forces in Africa – AFRICOM – and Mrs. Molly Phee, Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs.
The ceremony was marked by the presence of all US leaders responsible for Africa at the White House, the US Department of State, the Department of Defense, the US Africa Cooperation Institutions, and all US ambassadors accredited to African countries.
During the ceremony, General Stephen and Mrs. Molly Phee expressed the importance of US-African relations and ways to enhance and develop them to serve the interests of both sides.
The military attaché at the embassy, Colonel Muhammad El Moghdad was also present alongside the ambassador in this ceremony.
