Meeting with the US Secretary of State

On October 11, 2022, At the invitation of the US Secretary of State, Mr. Anthony Blinken, H.E. Mrs. Cisse Cheikh BOIDE, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, participated, in a virtual meeting that was an occasion to discuss the vote on a draft resolution condemning Russia following the attempt to annex Ukrainian territory and how the international community stands together in order to defend the principles of territorial sovereignty and commitment to the United Nations charters.

The meeting was marked by the presence of the U.S. Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs, Ms. Victoria Nuland, and the diplomatic corps accredited to the United States.
