Participation in a meeting of the US National Security Council
At the invitation of the National Security Council, Her Excellency Mrs. Cisse Cheikh BOIDE, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to the United States of America, participated in a special meeting to evaluate the achievements and progress of the pledges of the Africa-US Summit 2022.
The meeting was held with the African Group represented by the President and the heads of the five groups in cooperation with the Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs, Ms. Molly Fee, and Mr. Johnny Carson, Special Representative of President Biden in charge of implementing and following up the decisions of the African Summit. The meeting was an occasion to give a special briefing on the review and evaluation of the progress of the implementation of the decisions emanating from the 2022 Africa-US Summit, and the initial programs for the disbursement of the budget set for the next three years, which is equivalent to $ 55 billion, and this briefing was followed by a question-and-answer session
