The Minister of Foreign Affairs meets the U.S. Ambassador-at-Large for Religious Freedom

On December 14,2022, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzough, held a conference talk with the US Ambassador at Large for Religious Freedom, Mr. Rashad Hussein, during his participation in the activities of the Africa-America Summit held from December 13 to 15, 2022.

The meeting praised the Mauritanian approach to combating violent extremism and valued the pioneering role played by our country in ensuring security on all our territory.

The meeting took place in the presence of HE Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania in Washington, Mrs. Cisse Cheikh BOIDE.
