Procedures for obtaining a passport

I – Application for a passport

  • the national number of the subject;
  • Clearance fees to prove payment of fees ($87) with Money order.

Elements of documents requested from minors and adults under guardianship 

– The national number of the subject;

– Clearance evidencing payment of fees ($87 money order) with Money order.

– The consent of the legal representative

Note: There is three types of Legal representation:

Guardianship or power of attorney from the legal representative.

The father’s guardianship is proven by his civil status, submission of a judgment or judicial decision, and the guardianship and agency by a contract from an accredited notary.

Passport renewal request

There are four reasons for replacement: Loss, damage, expiration, and a validity of less than 6 months.

Replacement due to loss:  

Adult Passport File Elements

– The national number of the subject;

– Clearance proving the payment of fees to the public treasury ($114 for the first loss, then $155 for the second time, then $209 for the third time, then $276 for the fourth time).

All clearance fees are paid in the form of a money order, not in cash.

A copy of the declaration of loss or theft is required.

– Clearance proving the payment of fees to the public treasury ($114 for the first loss, then $155 for the second time, then $209 for the third time, then $276 for the fourth time).

All clearance fees are paid in the form of a money order, not in cash.

A clearing statement that proves the payment of fees to the public treasury ($ 114 for the first time, then $155 for the second time, then $209 for the third time, then $276 for the fourth time).

All clearance fees are paid in the form of a money order, not in cash.

Damaged passport Replacement because of the a validity of life is less than 6 months

II- Obstacles to Passport Authentication

If:  

There is an error in writing the data: it is only related to the data that appears in the passport, which is the personal, and family name, place of birth, date of birth and gender. The minor’s family name does not match that of his father unless he has a biometric document. The place of birth is a country, not a city. The difference of the current date of birth from the date of birth found in the national reference number, unless the mentioned date corresponds to the identification card, the 1998 form, or to the information stored in the old civil status application.

If the difference of the current date of birth from the date of birth on the old identification card when it was the only document on which the restriction was made.

And there is an error in sex.

Passport Clearance Fees:

All passport clearance fees are paid in the form of a money order, not in cash, as follows:

– Applying for a passport for the first time, the clearance fee is 87 dollars, Money Order.

– Renewal of an expired passport Clearance fee 87 dollars Money Order

– Replacing a damaged passport for the first time, the clearance fee is 114 dollars. Money Order

– Replacing a damaged passport for a second time Clearance fees 155 dollars Money Order

– Replacing a damaged passport for the third time Clearance fee 209 dollars Money Order

– Replacement of a lost passport for the first time Clearance fee 114 dollars Money Order

– Replacing a lost passport for a second time Clearance fees 155 dollars Money Order
