Information about Visas

Visa applications and fees:

1- Visa applications: In order to apply for a biometric visa, the following are required:

•  Personal attendance at the embassy is required to take Photo and fingerprints) for ordinary passport holders.

• A visa application form is filled out and signed by the concerned party (it can be downloaded from here ).

•  The passport should be valid and its validity exceeds 6 months.

•  A document proving the reasons for traveling to Mauritania is required.

2- Visa fees: All fees on visa applications are received in the form of a money order, not in cash, as follows:

A- Arab and African countries:

The fees are as follows:

–  30-Days Visa Fee $41 Money Order

– 90 Days Visa Fee $68 Money Order

– 360 Days Visa Clearance Fee $136 Money Order

-Two-year visa clearance fee $190 Money Order

-3-Year Visa Clearance Fee $271 Money Order

-Over 3 year’s visa, clearance fee is $541. Money Order B

Fees are as follows:

• 30 Day Visa Clearance Fee $55 Money Order
• 90 Day Visa Clearance Fee $95 Money Order
• 360 Day Visa Clearance Fee $190 Money Order
• Two-year visa, clearance fee $271, Money Order
• 3-Year Visa Clearance Fee $406 Money Order
• Over 3 years visa, clearance fee of $811 Money Order.
