Meeting with the Chairman and Members of the Independent Electoral Commission in charge of North America.

On March 14, 2023, H.E. Ambassador Cisse Cheikh BOIDE, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to the United States of America, held a meeting at her office in Washington with the Chairman and members of representatives of the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) USA Branch, on ways to organize the electoral process in conditions that are acceptable to all.

The meeting marked the start of the process of registering citizens on the electoral register, which gives them the full right to perform their electoral duty in the upcoming legislative elections.

Her Excellency the Ambassador and the diplomatic staff were the first to register on the electoral list.
