Participation in a meeting with the Sahel Alliance

At the invitation of the Ambassador of Chad in Washington, on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, Her Excellency Cisse Cheikh BOIDE,  Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to the United States of America, has participated in a meeting attended by the Ambassador of the of Niger, and a representative of the Embassy of Burkina Faso, a high representative of the Sahel Alliance, Mr. Jimmy Adom, Counselor Mr. Simon Karzoll, and Director of the Secretariat of the Deputy High Representative, Mr. Jerome Spinoza.

The aim of the meeting was to make a presentation by the representatives of the Sahel Alliance on what the alliance has accomplished. The meeting also highlighted the strengthening of cooperation, consultation, and coordination with the ambassadors of the Sahel countries in Washington.
