Participation in the “Passport DC” events

The embassy of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania in the United States of America participated in the “Passport DC” events. The participation included fashion shows, folklore, and Mauritanian music. This opportunity also allowed the embassy staff to meet with American visitors to introduce them to the cultural heritage and tourism potential of Mauritania. 58 countries, including African countries, participate in these annual events, which are dedicated to promoting the cultures and diplomatic missions of different countries.
