The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania in Washington participates in a meeting organized by the US Institute of Peace, USIP.

On October 4, 2024, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to Washington, Ms.Cissé Mint Cheikh Ould Beida, along with her counterparts from the Sahel countries accredited to Washington, attended an important meeting organized by the United States Institute of Peace in Washington, DC. The meeting was an opportunity to discuss priorities and challenges in the Sahel region and to strengthen cooperation between the United States of America and the Sahel countries.
