The Minister of Economy and Finance Discusses Strengthening Partnership with Our Country with the Vice President of the World Bank
The Mauritanian delegation participating in the Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group, led by His Excellency the Minister of Economy and Finance, Mr. Sid’Ahmed Ould Bouh, held talks with the Vice President of the World Bank for Africa, Mr. Ousmane Diagana, accompanied by a number of senior officials from this international financial institution.
The meeting, attended by the Governor of the Central Bank of Mauritania, Mr. Mohamed Lemine Ould Dhehbi, along with several executives from the economy and finance sector, focused on reviewing support mechanisms for the partnership between our country and the World Bank. Discussions included an assessment of various technical and financial cooperation files, particularly those related to the portfolio of development projects financed by the Bank in our country, and ways to improve and accelerate their implementation.
