Organizing a meeting with a delegation from the US Department of Homeland Security

The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to the United States of America, Cisse Cheikh BOIDE, presided, in her office in Washington, DC, a meeting with a delegation from the Department of Homeland Security, which included the International Operations Officer, Mr. Tim Stone, and Ms. Dana Proudge, Regional Affairs Specialist. The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries on issues relating to immigration and refugees.

The first Counselor in charge of political affairs and human rights, Mr. Jiddou Ould Abderrahmane Ould Jiddou, attended the meeting.
