Meeting with The Honorable Rufus Gifford, Chief of Protocol of the United States of America.

HE Cisse Cheikh Boide, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania in Washington, attended a virtual briefing with the Chief of Protocol of the US Department of State, the Honorable Rufus Gifford on the state of administration.

The meeting was an opportunity for HE Cisse Cheikh Boide to listen to the introduction given by the Chief of Protocol to the Diplomatic Corps as well as the priorities and objectives of the Office of the Chief of Protocol.

The State of the Administration Lecture Series is a recurring program that gives the diplomatic corps the opportunity to meet and interact with senior government officials and other experts who can provide first-hand knowledge to solve some of the most important problems.

The program also aims to foster international goodwill and deepen bilateral and multilateral relationships while providing the diplomatic corps with a better understanding of the people, customs, and institutions of the United States.
