Participation in a meeting at the White House

On May 16, 2023, Her Excellency Mrs. Cisse Cheikh Boide, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to the United States, was invited by the Director of Protocol at the US Department of State, Mr. Rufis Jeyford, to participate in a meeting at the White House on the occasion of Africa Day. This meeting, which was attended by all accredited African ambassadors in Washington, focused on discussing ways to strengthen partnership and cooperation between Africa and the United States and to propel them to high levels.
