Mauritanian delegation to Washington holds talks with World Bank Deputy Administrator.

Our delegation participating in the Spring Meetings organized by the Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) held a meeting on Wednesday, April 12,2023, with the Vice President of the World Bank in charge of Africa, Mr. Ousmane Diagana.

The talk meetings dealt with various files of common interest and ways to develop partnership relations between our country and the World Bank, and the meeting also discussed the mechanism for enhancing financing as well as the portfolio of projects programmed within the framework of cooperation between the two parties.

Our country was represented at this meeting by the Ministers of Economic Affairs and Promotion of Productive Sectors, Mr. Ousmane Mamadou Kane, Finance Minister Isselmou Ould Mohamed Mbadi, Governor of the Central Bank Mohamed Lemine Ould Dhehbi, Ambassador of our country in Washington, Mrs. Cisse Cheikh BOIDE, and several sector officials represented in the delegation.
