Participation in a preparatory meeting for the Africa-America Summit

At the invitation of the Director of Protocol at the U.S. Department of State, the delegation of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, headed by H.E. Mrs. El Alia Mint Menkous, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad, participated, at the Washington Convention Center, in a preparatory meeting for the upcoming Africa-America Summit. 

These meetings will continue from October 31 and November 01, 2022.

In addition to the Secretary General, the meeting was attended by HE Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to the United States Her Excellency Cisse Cheikh BOIDE, Counselor in charge of Political Affairs at the Embassy Mr.  Jiddou Ould Abderrahmane, and Counselor in charge of Diplomatic Affairs at the Embassy Mr. Abderrahmane El Hadj Gaye.
