The Minister of Economy signs three agreements with the World Bank worth 2.661 billion ouguiyas

On the sidelines of the spring meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, His Excellency the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Abdeslam Ould Mohamed Saleh, signed with Mr. Ousmane Diakana, Vice President of the World Bank, three financing agreements: two grants and a loan, allocated to finance the health system support project (Extended Care).
This funding will allow improving access to high-quality reproductive, maternal, neonatal, child and adolescent health and nutrition services, in addition to increasing the availability of these services in the selected areas, as well as the rapid and efficient response required in the event of a qualified emergency crisis.

On this occasion, His Excellency the Minister of Economy expressed the full thanks and gratitude of the Mauritanian government and people to the World Bank for this important support, which will have a positive impact on the economic and social development of our country.

     The signing ceremony took place in the presence of the Governor of the Central Bank, Mohamed Lamine Ould Dahabi, and His Excellency the Ambassador of our country in Washington, Mrs. Cissé Mint Cheikh Ould Beida.
