The Mauritanian delegation participating in the annual meetings of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund held in Washington, held a discussion session yesterday evening, Thursday, with the World Bank Vice President for West and Central Africa, Mr. Ousmane Diagana, who was surrounded by the World Bank’s sector managers.

The session between the two parties addressed the level of implementation of the portfolio of projects financed by the World Bank in our country, where the challenges facing them and the mechanisms for accelerating and improving the efficiency of their implementation were reviewed.

During the same meeting, ways to enhance and develop the World Bank’s support for development policies in Mauritania were also discussed.
