Meeting with the Ambassador of the Maldives in Washington

On March 24, 2023, H.E. Mr.  Abdul Ghafoor Mohamed, Ambassador of the State of Maldives to the United States of America, paid a courtesy visit, to Mrs. Cisse Cheikh BOIDE, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania in the United States, at her office in Washington.

The meeting was part of the new ambassador’s tour of his counterparts to benefit from their experience in Washington. It was also an opportunity to discuss all issues of common interest that serve the interests of the two countries.

The meeting was attended from the Maldivian side by Ms. Zeina Didi, Counsellor at the Embassy of the Maldives in Washington, and from the Mauritanian side, by Mr. Jiddou Abderrahmane and Mr. Mohamed Lemine Boddah, both Counsellors at the Embassy of Mauritania in Washington.
