Meeting of the Chairman of the National Human Rights Committee at the White House.

On May 2, 2023, Mr. Ahmed Salem Bouhoubeyni, Chairman of the National Human Rights Committee, held a meeting, with Mr. Matt Betty, Director of African Affairs at the US National Security Council in charge of the Sahel region.

The meeting dealt with the President’s presentation of the progress achieved in the fields of human rights by the government of our country and listened to the vision of the American side in this field.

The meeting was attended by Her Excellency Ambassador Cisse Cheikh BOIDE, and the First Counselor at the Embassy Jiddou Ould Abderrahmane and the Second Counselor Abderrahmane El Haj Gaye, and on the American side Ms. Gladys Sistoris, Director and Special Advisor in charge of International Action at the National Security Council, and Ms. Allison, the point of contact between the Embassy and the US Department of State.
