Meeting with the US President at the White House

Her Excellency Cisse Cheikh BOIDE, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to the United States of America, met with the US president, Joe Biden, in the White House, as part of the completion of the submission of credentials.

The meeting was an occasion for the Ambassador to convey the greetings of the President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to the American President, who in turn conveyed to the Ambassador his greetings to the President of the Republic and the Mauritanian people. He also emphasized the strong will of the United States to further cooperation with Mauritania, noting the effective role it plays in the Sahel region.
