Participation in a meeting of the US Congress
On September 16th, 2022, At the invitation of the Ambassador of Rwanda in Washington, D.C, Her Excellency Cisse Cheikh BOIDE, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania has participated in a meeting held at the US Capitol in honor of US Senator James Anhof, Chairman of the Defense Committee of the House, on his retirement in the upcoming elections.
During the meeting, participants followed a speech by the President of Rwanda, Paul Kagame, in which he thanked the Senator and members of the Committee for promoting the experience of the State of Rwanda in the field of development and contributing to building a strong partnership with United States.
On the sidelines of the meeting, Her Excellency the Ambassador Cisse Cheikh BOIDE met with members of the US Congress who expressed their desire to visit Mauritania and their aspiration to work with the government of our country in many fields.
