The American Academy of Achievement Honors the President of the Republic

On December 12, 2022, The American Academy of Achievement, in cooperation with the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations, honored His Excellency the President of the Republic His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, with the “Distinguished Leadership” Award during a ceremony organized on Monday evening, at the Alliance’s headquarters in Washington, D.C. by awarding him the “Distinguished Leadership” award, in recognition of his role in building resilience to climate change.

The ceremony was attended by members of the US Congress, White House advisers, the head of the US intelligence agency, and presidents and dignitaries from the African continent.
